The Age restrictions according to the official website are 31 years for the general category, 34 years for the candidates with the LLM degree, and 37 years for the categories like SC/ST, OBS, PWD, women, and Army Candidates. The Council of Scientific Research National Eligibility Test is administered by the National Test Agency every year twice to recruit applicants for the profession like Lectureship and JRF. The exam consists of one subject which is divided into three components: Paper A, B, and C. Paper A are common for all the applicants, but the other two subjects are different as they are according to the candidate’s choice. The CSIR NET exams are conducted in fully digital mode in various centers all over the country. Educational Qualification for CSIR NET candidates is that they must have an M.Sc degree with 55 per cent marks for the general category and an M.Sc degree with 50 per cent marks for the SC/ST and OBC categories.
